I am constantly impressed by the amazing women I encounter on an everyday basis. Strong warriors that battle the social stigmas imposed on them by a community whose idea of success is warped by the images of pop culture idols.
With that in mind, I’ve decided to start this series highlighting real woman, from all kinds of industries and careers – what they do for a living and of course what they wear to work.
Here they are – our first group of Working Curves!

“I work in a jean friendly environment but I always like to kick it up a notch. When I look good I feel good and I believe that’s reflected in the quality of my work.” – Melissa Powell, Cedar Rapids, Iowa
“In January 2013, I negotiated the contract at our office for casual Fridays. So now I love pairing dark wash jeans with a cute top. For this look I added a studded black top from Macy’s and a lace sleeve sweater from Fred Meyers. I finished it off with gold flats and jewelry.” – Rhonda HackerKrolfifer, Napa, California
