So after a crazy month of parties, brand meetings and empowering events, next up came the Hal Rubenstien and Marla Wynne Exclusive Blogger Event. I will say this was one of my favorite events of the week. The environment was intimate and inviting, as if Marla and Hal had invited us into their personal homes. They were both extremely excited to share with us their newest collections and their passion for the plus size woman. If you haven’t done so already, make sure to check out both Hal and Marla’s gorgeous collections exclusively at HSN.

If you follow me on Instagram then you probably already know that along with my blogger babe Sandra of La Pecosa Preciosa, I hosted a Plus Size Happy Hour for all the lovely fashionistas who were in the city for the festivities. It was great to mix and mingle with other bloggers, brands and readers in an casual setting. Stay tuned for more of these Plus Size Happy Hours coming to a city near you!

On Friday morning, just when I thought I couldn’t go on anymore, I geared myself for another amazing FFFWeek event, the Celebrate My Size Expo. Unfortunately, my day job called so I couldn’t stay for long, but man was that room buzzing! Vendors selling everything from bags to lashes. Manicures, a brow bar, and FFFWeek sponsors Fit for Me by Fruit of the Loom giving away packs of their newest undies. Yes, I quickly grabbed my pack, ran back to work, followed later by a trip to Jibri’s pop-up shop, Modamix to pick out my look for theCURVYcon and finally, to Williamsburg for the Eloquii launch party. Can we say crazy busy?! And yes, this all included a wardrobe change. What else would you expect out of a fashion blogger! 🙂

Can you tell we had a blast?

Last but certainly not least came the weekend. Saturday was the much-awaited theCURVYcon. I was so excited to finally be a part of this ground-breaking event and along with Sandra, I was all set for our Modamix’s Instagram takeover. Yes, we are big fans of the brand and it was amazing to hang with the Modamix team all day and help style so many amazing customers. Aside from my work with Modamix, it was wonderful to connect with so many bloggers, readers, and brands. You can definitely tell everyone was there to have fun!

Then came Sunday! What better way to close out a crazy week/month then by having brunch with several of my favorite bloggers. Over eggs and mimosas, we chatted about everything from fashion to blogging. Once again, as I left this amazing group of Sheros and reflected on this crazy but amazing month, I felt that same feeling I felt several weeks earlier at Sahar’s event. Nothing but true inspiration!
