Fashion: Snow Days & Winter Neutrals

After last month's huge blizzard I haven't been able to stop thinking about how beautiful my city looked that weekend.

The gorgeous blanket of powdered white snow against the stark contrast of steel skyscrapers, gritty concrete sidewalks, and scurrying New Yorkers running for cover brought to light the neutral color palette that inspired today's look.

Now normally I am not crazy about neutrals palettes. I'm either an all black, bold colors or pretty pinks kind of girl. There is something about those beige-y colors that just blend in with my complexion and make it challenging for me to style.

Which is why for today's look I was excited to pair different shades of neutrals, some that are darker then others, to create a blended minimalistic look that is winter ready perfection.  This look was easy to put together and the oversized sweater paired with a simple pencil skirt and comfy flats made me feel as if I could conquer the world.

So ladies, I hope this look inspires you to try something different, pushes you to seek style inspiration from your surrounding and maybe even let go of some of your personal own fashion barriers.

Happy Thursday!
