Heels With a Cause

Happy Wednesday!

Today I am excited to share with you an amazing company that I've had the pleasure of working with. Sara Melissa, is a San Francisco female owned brand that is focused on empowering women through beautifully designed, handcrafted shoes.

First, let's talk about how amazing these shoes are. I ordered the "Tropical Sirena Waves" Pointy Toe Pump in my normal size 8 and when they arrived they fit perfectly. I was incredibly impressed by the packageing as it arrived in a beautiful custom box which included a dust bag and a sweet personalize note that stated:

"Dear Darlene, Every time you wear these hand made shoes, you give life to a piece of my imagination. That's why in my heart we are now sole sisters. May these heels help you walk through your wildest goals & dreams."

Talk about insipiring! This note put a huge smile on my face and made me excited to pull out my pumps and check out these beauties.  Ladies, let me just say these shoes are gorgeous, vibrant and truly breathtaking. I loved the yin-yan effect of the alternating shoe styles. The orange, gold and teal colors really make these shoes super versitle whether matched with a simple black dress for work or a flared skirt for date night.

Aside from being an amazing product, Sara Melissa is a truly impressive organization. 5% of all of their profits is donated to the non-profit organization "La F.E.M."  La F.E.M. inspires the rural women of Nicaragua by provinding education and advocacy for women's rights.

So if you ask me, a pair of shoes that looks this good, inspires women and also helps our community, will always get two thumbs up from me!

Those shoes are gorg!!! Now, I have to know what kind of bra you’re wearing with that top and does it work for all day or just a few minutes. Strapless bras are such a headache!!

Thanks! I am wearing a strapless from Lane Bryant. I actually wore it all day through late in the evening. The only annoying thing is that the gell inside lining irritated me a little.
