Happy Monday ladies! A couple of weeks ago I joined forces with a few of my blogger babes to showcase the new Allie pant by Lane Bryant or as I like to call her, the perfect plus size work pant. Allie, the new girl in the LB lineup of amazing work wear pants, was created to address the constant problem of fit among the plus size community. The new universal fit pant is suppose to work on all women of all sizes and body shapes and their fit revolution technology and advanced waistband construction make them easy to wear whether you are an hourglass, apple, square or pear shape.
So on a cold January day me and my crew, varying in sizes 16-26 and pant length from short to tall, hit the streets of Brooklyn to see if these pants really fit the bill. Check out my thoughts on the pants below and visit Jami, Sandra and Marcy to learn more about their experience.
First, lets say hello curves. As soon as put these on I loved that they hugged all of my curves from my knees up to my waist. They are a boot-cut which makes them perfect for work and at a short length (size 18) they fit spot on even with a small heel. My favorite part about the pants was the waist band. It was thick and stretchy which meant my pants stayed up and didn't gap in the back. It also had belt loops making it perfect for adding a little sparkle to the look. Ladies, these pants definitely get two thumbs up from me. What do you ladies think about the new Allie pants?
