Ladies, Valentine's Day can be very complicated for many us. Whether you are single or in a relationship, it always feels like society is telling us how to love, who to love and of course how to show that love. Well today, as we celebrate the season of love, I am excited to introduce you to a very special initiative that I am working on: The ME Project, a 3 hours workshop taking place in New York City.
The ME Project is all about YOU! It's about falling in love with the most important person in your life. It's about pampering your inner woman and celebrating her. The Me Project is all about harnessing your health, and who you are all around through self-love, fashion, and wellness.
Over the new few weeks I will be sharing with you a little into The ME Project starting off with the first section today focused on Self-Love.
Ladies self-love is more than practicing daily affirmations, and thoughts of body-positivity. True self-love respects the process of growing into the woman you want to be, by accepting the journey. So as the "day of love" comes around next week make sure to focus on your process and remember to:
- Becoming mindful. People who have more self-love tend to know what they think, feel and want. They are mindful of who they are and act on this knowledge, rather than on what others want for them.
- Setting boundaries. You'll love yourself more when you set limits or say no to work, love, or activities that deplete or harm you physically, emotionally and spiritually, or express poorly who you are.
- Forgive yourself & others. We humans can be so hard on ourselves. The downside of taking responsibility for our actions is punishing ourselves too much for mistakes in learning and growing. You have to accept your humanness (the fact that you are not perfect), before you can truly love yourself. Practice being less hard on yourself when you make a mistake. Remember, there are no failures, if you have learned and grown from your mistakes; there are only lessons learned.
If these tips resonate with you, then make sure to join me and my co-host Sahar Paz next month as we go in depth and truly explore the three key principles of The ME Project. This workshop is only open to 25 women, so register today.
