Here in NY we are finally starting to get that perfect fall weather. You know, cool enough to grab a sweater or moto, but warm enough still to rock a skirt without leggings lol! Yes, that kind of weather. Now, while I am a summer babe all the way, I am a sucker for a great pair of boots, and who doesn’t love a cozy sweater. Hence the inspiration for this look.

I shared with you last week my happy hour look from Catherines. Well, this week we are going full on casual with a weekend look. Ladies, running errands doesn’t need to equate raggedy sweatpants, your hubby’s t-shirt, and Crocs. Comfort comes in so many stylish forms nowadays that you can still feel like you are in your PJs while looking completely fabulous.  That was my goal.

First up, I grabbed a pair of Catherines The Knit Jean in Forrest and, oh man, they are perfection. The olive color is so beautiful and the fit was slim at my thigh but relaxed at the ankles – making them a perfect for boots or flats. I then paired it with this beautiful burnt orange (Dark Red) Bennett Pullover sweater.  I’m really in love with what I’m calling Catherines fit and flare top style. This top flared right at the hip line, and similar to last week’s shirt, it provided ample cover on the back end which I loved. I finished off the look with Catherines Ellington Harness Boot which fit perfect on my 18 inch calves. The boots are beautiful and comfortable. Armed with my favorite clutch, purchased on my last trip in Colombia, I was ready to tackle the weekend errands and then later meet friends for dinner.

Stay tune for next week’s post featuring my Catherines career wear look.
