Dressing for Unpredictable Weather This Winter Season

While winter is officially in full swing it seems the weather gods are still not quite sure it they want us to freeze into human icicles or pull out our swimsuits. I don't know about you but lately the weather mood swings have left me a little lost on what to wear and how much to wear. And while I love and welcome a warm front any day, I also don't want to be lugging around my huge winter coat in 60 degree weather. So for today's look I am focusing all on layers!

Ladies, layers are a lifesaver, not only in the winter but also during the in-between seasons. For today's look I picked a super cozy, long sleeve, sweater dress that I knew would keep me warm while out holiday shopping. I paired the dress with tall knee length boots because honestly I couldn't be bothered with tights. However, for colder days this look would be perfect with tights and or even leggings and booties or a pump.

Dress, Boots, Vest, Coat

Next I decided that another layer was a must since it was pretty cold when we left in the morning so on came the fur vest. Ladies, if you don't own one, get one, trust me you won't regret it. A long line fur vest is perfect to dress up any look. You can even throw it on over a turtleneck and jeans for a super chic and classic option.

Lastly came on my new fav and that's my long, hooded coat. No only is it polished but it also literally keeps me warm from head to toe!

There you go ladies. Now while it might seem like a lot of clothes the beauty is that you can take off any of these layers for a cooler look as mother nature does its thing.

Love this article. Really helps put into perspective how layering can help because I've always wondered. I'm just finally in a place where I can enjoy how I look with new clothes but still unsure about what will work. Thanks.
