Cold-Shoulder Sexiness for New Year’s Eve

The cold-shoulder trend continues to run strong this season and as you can see I am all aboard this train.  Why do I love it so much, you might ask?

Well personally, I feel like it can be subtly sexy or super sexy depending on the look. Plus, with most cold shoulder pieces you can normally wear a regular bra and still show of a little neckline which for many of my bustier plus size ladies is a score!

So for today's New Year's Eve inspired look I decided to wear this super cute dress from Torrid. First, doesn't this dress scream Romeo & Juliet? Ok, personal fantasy aside, I loved the combination of the gorgeous merlot color velvet with the bell sleeves and of course the cold-shoulder cut-outs. I especially loved the wrap neckline which definitely amplified the sexiness factor on this cute number. I paired the look with gold wedge shoes also from Torrid and decided to keep the rest of the accessories at minimal since there was a lot already going on. I'm in a size 2 which fit perfect on my 18-20 frame but tall ladies beware, this dress is short (I am 5'3).

I'm completely on board with this look because like you said, I can still wear a bra but show a little shoulder!  Plus if a breeze blows, my arms are covered.  I hope this style sticks around for a few more seasons.
